Local events are scattered across dozens of Facebook groups, pub noticeboards and village hall websites. It's easy to miss the good stuff. So we gather it all in one place, check it over, and share the best of the weekend every Thursday.

It's free to list an event and free to browse. Anything open to the public is welcome, from car boot sales and quiz nights to concerts and charity fun runs.
Run by a local
The Coastal Local is run by Sammy, who was born and raised on the peninsula and still calls it home. It started as a simple idea: make it easier for neighbours to find out what's going on, and for the people running things to get the word out.
Designed and built by Saltwater Creative
